AverY Abell

Avery Abell is a California born actor living in Los Angeles. She specializes in physical comedy and characters, ranging from shapeshifting cows to Australian exchange students. Her background in gymnastics and skiing make her a flexible performer both literally and metaphysically. Her experience in the arts spans from Production Assistant to director to 2nd AC, she really puts the Abell in Capable (sorry about that one, that’s not even how you pronounce the name). Avery graduated Cum Laude from Loyola Marymount University in May and since then she has made her rounds in background work, staged readings, and creating new works.

What’s Next?

Avery will be acting in a staged reading of one of Beth Henley’s (1981 Pulitzer Prize Winner, 1981 Drama Critic’s Circle Award Winner) new plays! Avery loves working on new works and is honored to share the space with a powerhouse like Henley.

Avery will team up once again with the wickedly talented, Rachael DeBoer to create something that they will then perform. They don’t know what, they don’t know where…but they do know it will be marveoulous.
